AURORA — The Aurora girls soccer team had its share of chances in the first half but never could find the back of the net.

Aurora senior Charlotte Hart scored the game's lone goal off an assist from junior Elakia Vadivelan, capping a quick flurry of passes down the pitch.

"Me and Bella [Sferry] were working really well in the middle together so we were just passing," Hart said. "We found Elakia, and then me and Elakia did a give and go and scored."Junior Abby Dalessandro nearly added an insurance goal on multiple occasions, including a shot the Rough Riders keeper was just able to push over the bar.

Overall, Aurora had 10 shots on goal to Roosevelt's two.
