Let's toss out some Week 7 game balls, recognizing last week's top high school football performances from across Portage County:

    Tristen Addis, Crestwood

Addis sparked and scored the Red Devils' first touchdown in a 58-26 win over Cardinal with a 30-yard run around the right end shortly followed by a 7-yard scoring run. The senior added 22- and 59-yard touchdown runs in the second half. Six of his seven runs went for at least six yards, and he finished with seven carries for 131 yards.

"We started to really give him the opportunity to have that role against Brooklyn a couple weeks ago, and I think that [Addis] and Nate [Blasiole] ran for 140 yards and it was impressive to see," Crestwood coach Jack D'Amato said. "And then tonight he had another heck of a game."

"Sometimes, I think he's running better than me," Blasiole added. "I mean, that first half it was all him. He did everything that first half. He's crazy."

    Nate Blasiole, Crestwood

Blasiole demonstrated a wide skill set in the Red Devils' 58-26 victory, dragging the pile forward to turn short runs into more significant gains and speeding away from the defense for a number of long touchdown runs. Indeed, three of his four touchdown runs came from at least 35 yards out, with Blasiole finishing with 305 yards on 26 carries.

"I go one tackle at a time, that's my main thing," Blasiole said. "I just go one tackle at a time until I see green grass. And my line does it. My line's awesome. I love those guys. I owe them something after this."

    Brandyn Bogucki, Garfield

Bogucki helped the G-Men cement their fifth straight win with the game-clinching interception in the final two minutes. Bogucki also played a big offensive role in Garfield's 20-13 win over Liberty — the G-Men's 12th straight league win extending back to 2022. The junior had a rushing and a receiving touchdown, racking up 105 rushing yards and 41 receiving yards in the victory.

    Keyshawne Anderson, Waterloo

Anderson played a big role as the Vikings snapped a 14-game league losing streak with a 30-28 victory over Jackson-Milton. Anderson contributed in any number of ways, including scoring touchdowns on a 20-yard reception and a 92-yard kickoff return. Anderson also had an interception and four carries for 20 yards.

    Cole Walton, Aurora

The linebacker played a big role in the Greenmen holding a dangerous Tallmadge offense to 14 points in Friday's win. Walton finished with seven tackles — two for loss — and a quarterback hurry.

    Mason Lisi, Rootstown

Going up against Warren JFK was always going to test Rootstown's secondary, with Freddy Bolchalk having a wide number of strong receivers surrounding him. Mason Lisi helped keep the Rovers in the game with two interceptions.

    Damien Reuting, Rootstown

Meanwhile, Reuting again played a leadership role on the offensive side of the ball, with 22 carries for 158 yards in the Rovers' 20-14 loss to the Eagles. The junior running back had one of Rootstown's two touchdowns in the game.

    Jack Eye, Windham

Eye had 332 rushing yards and four touchdowns Saturday, and the Bombers needed every single one to stay perfect with a 32-26 overtime victory over St. John. Eye's big day against the Heralds included touchdown runs of 74 and 75 yards.

    Bryer Pickana, Southeast

Similar to Eye and the Bombers, the Pirates found themselves in a closer game than expected and needed every yard Bryer Pickana could accumulate. The sophomore had 26 carries for 212 yards and scored all three of Southeast's touchdowns in a 22-16 victory over Champion.

    Drexal McAmis, Field

McAmis hit the 1,000-yard milestone this season with another big-time performance in the Falcons' 42-6 victory over Springfield. McAmis had 15 carries for 205 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half, as Field won its second straight game to move to 6-1.

    C.J. Ross, Ravenna

Ross helped lead the Ravens to their second straight win, completing 11 of 20 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown in a 24-0 win over Springfield. The junior also ran for a touchdown.

Marcus Council and Cohen Klimak, Streetsboro

Both Council and Klimak needed just six carries to easily exceed the century mark. The two combined for 12 carries for 265 yards (22.1 per carry), with each reaching the end zone twice, to lead undefeated Streetsboro to a convincing 42-0 win at Woodridge.
