    Red Bank shooter remains on the loose as police reveal victim's name

    RED BANK - Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a double shooting in Red Bank last week.

    Mikal Muhammad, 36, of Red Bank, was shot and died at the scene of the attack, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said in a statement Monday.

    The man who survived was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune where he was treated and released.

    The double shooting happened about 3:13 a.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of River Street.

    The investigation remains active, being handled by the major crimes bureau of the prosecutor's office and Red Bank police. There have been no arrests.
