Hefty Lefty's, a business located in Central Market known for their hoagies and cheesesteaks, announced this week that they will be opening a second location in the soon-to-be Franklin Street Social food hall in Red Lion.

The stand went viral this year for their signature method for making hoagies, where they ingeniously roll the veggies and cheese into hefty layers of meat.

"This Food Hall is a first for York County and will be a destination point for all of Central Pennsylvania. We are ecstatic about the opportunity to serve our customers in such a unique venue," a Hefty Lefty's Facebook post read.

Eager to share the news with their followers, a social media post by the Franklin Street Social welcomed the new sandwich business. "Hefty Lefty's Hoagies and Grinders is sure to become a landmark at the Franklin Street Social," the Facebook post read.

According to their website, the Franklin Street Social, a brainchild of local real estate developer Jordan Ilyes and local chef Ethan Greer, will be York County's first food hall. It will offer nine restaurants, one central bar and plenty of vendors showcasing a mix of flavors.

Located at 214 N. Franklin St., the food hall is expected to be open this summer.
