Red Oak Police Arrest Adams County Man on Theft Charges

(Red Oak) An Adams County man faces theft charges in Red Oak.

Red Oak Police arrested 42-year-old Adam Lewis Schrodt of Corning on Tuesday afternoon on a charge of first-degree theft (an amount greater than $10,000). Officers took Schrodt into custody at around 4:00 p.m. and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail. According to the press release, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Des Moines Police Department may file additional charges.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office assisted Red Oak Police with the investigation.
