EASTER EGG MAYHEM AT THE PARK
An errant whistle spurred an unexpectedly early start to the Spring Egg Hunt on Sunday, which had been scheduled to begin at eggsactly 11am at Count Basie Park. According to residents, roughly 5 minutes before the event was scheduled to begin, a whistle was blown which resulted in a large number of egg hunters rushing onto the field.
PRESEASON DOCKWORK
It still may be a bit early for most boaters to get back out onto our beautiful Navesink River. But with spring arriving Tuesday, Irwin Marine Center by Sagamore Blue was busily preparing for the return of customers with some preseason dockwork, as seen from Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank Thursday.
