    National Guard assisting Redding hospital impacted by COVID-19 and Fawn Fire

    REDDING, Calif. - Mercy Medical Center Redding has brought in help from the National Guard in response to COVID-19 surges and impacts caused by the Fawn Fire. Two, seven-person teams are currently in town, according to Mercy Medical Center Public Information Office Chris McMurry. The teams each consist of six medics and one supervisor.     good for National Guard. 1 hours in the guard after my military service. in town here. we went to fires brought people on top of the hill we want on floods the worst one was Marysville. so we can be used to do a job that needs to be done. there's a lot more other stuff that we can look do if you give us a chance. like protecting our borders. taking care of Americans on the street. slow down the violence. we should use them to combat some of the drug use going on in this town another illegal things that are happening right under our nose. all it takes is a strong governor not a pansy like we have now to call us out so we can get the job done or nobody else seems to be able to. plus it's good to training. in different situations and that's a big plus. we signed up for it so let us do what we have to do. what we were trying to do. Not sitting on the sidelines watching this country crumble under our feet. the First Responders has went above and over their capabilities
