Police seek missing Southern California teen last seen riding bike to family member’s home
Authorities are asking for help to find a missing 15-year-old who was last seen Tuesday evening in Monterey Park. Alison Jillian Chao left her home in the 200 block of North Ynez Avenue Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m., police said. She was on the way to visit a family member in nearby San Gabriel, but never arrived at the home.

WFCN – According to RNcareers.org 9th annual Nursing School Review, Cal State Long Beach’s School of Nursing has been named the best nursing program in California. For the purpose of creating its merit-based rankings, RNCareers.org assessed over 1,700 nursing programs. A few of the variables are program accreditation, tuition prices, academic achievement, teacher credentials, student happiness, program options, career results, and school reputation.

It was a great morning for a run! The Venice Beach Run Conquer the Pier event kicked off at 8:30 a.m. at the end of the Venice Pier. A nice cool marine layer covered the 5k course, which went from the end of the pier to the beach, then north on the boardwalk to Rose Ave, turned around and came back, finishing at the end of the pier. There was also a 1k that started at 10:00 a.m. at Muscle Beach Gym, and ran down to Washington Blvd. and then up the pier to the finish line.
