Motorcyclist dead after crashing into pickup truck in Cumberland County
A 67-year-old man died Friday after his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck at a Cumberland County intersection, police said. William E. Mack, of Carlisle, was trying to make a left turn from York Road onto Boiling Springs Road in Monroe Township when the crash happened around 1:24 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The York County SPCA still needs help after last week's power outage
The York SPCA on Monday provided an update its status following last week's power outage. The facility was forced to place 68 dogs into foster care after storm damage caused the loss of all electricity, knocking out air conditioning in the building. The power loss prompted a plea for public help from staffers at the York SPCA.
