The 20-year-old bareback rider from Columbus, Montana recently clinched his second straight CNFR championship in Casper, Wyoming. He won two rounds at the CNFR, and made up a two-man men’s team that finished second. Add to that his lead in the Resistol Rookie standings with $45,160, and 17th place in the PRCA world standings, and Weston is on a trajectory towards several national qualifications—and titles—in 2024. Evacuation warnings lifted for Bible Lane fire near Alberton
UPDATE: July 21 at 9:30 a.m. The Missoula County Sheriff's Office announced around 5:30 p.m. Saturday the evacuation warnings for the Bible Lane fire have been lifted. The warnings had been in place for residents east of the intersection of Petty Creek Road and Bible Lane, including Runyon Drive, Lydia Lane, and Lucinda Lane since Friday evening when the fire ignited.
Robbery Suspect Attacks Missoula Grocery Store Employee
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On July 13, 2024, Missoula Police Department officers were dispatched to a local grocery store for a possible robbery. The 911 caller was an employee of the store and stated a male had “got physical” during a shoplifting. When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect had left the area. An officer met with two employees and obtained brief statements from them.
