Help your community with a blood donation
BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — There is a need for blood donations within our community and we spoke with Tori Robbins the communications Manager at Vitalant to learn more. “So all blood types are needed right now but especially those O types, O positive and O negative,” explained Robbins. “Unfortunately we’re seeing those levels drop quicker than we’d like and it’s been pretty consistent since the beginning of summer. So we’re really calling on those O positive and O negative donors to come out and donate and if you don’t know your blood type that’s absolutely fine.”

Troop 163 Receives Jamestown Community Foundation Grant
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Community Foundation has recently awarded a $2,500 grant to Troop 163 of the Jamestown Boy Scouts for assistance towards the purchase of a new trailer/equipment. The local Scouts use the trailer and equipment for their trips to the regional camps and Jamborees around the country, and their current trailer is in dire need of replacement. This grant will bring them very close to their fund raising goal for the project.
Pride of Dakota Days Planned at Minot State Fair
The 36th Annual Pride of Dakota Day will take place next week at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot on Monday, July 22nd. Administered by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, the Pride of Dakota Program helps support over 500 different companies throughout the state through marketing, promotional events and educational opportunities.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The dirt outside of Myhre Elementary School will be replaced with a new playground at the end of the month just in time for the start of the school year. The new playground will have a structure with 31 play stations, ADA stations, swingsets and more.
