Co-founder of former Hopeful Heart Project agrees to restitution after claims of embezzlement
FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — A co-founder for a group created to raise awareness for stillbirth and infant loss has reached an out of court agreement for embezzlement. Kayla Sorum agreed to restitution of around $76,000 and agreed to make payments of at least $1,000 per month to Haven, formerly known as Hopeful Heart Project.

Upgrades To Missile Launch Sites To Move Forward
(Minot, ND) — Despite cost overruns U.S. military officials have decided to move forward with upgrades to the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system. The Sentinel program includes upgrades to 150 missile launch facilities in North Dakota. Senator John Hoeven says the upgrades are critical to the mission of installations like Minot Air Force Base. Work on the upgrades is scheduled to begin in 2027.
