Lake Mills' Max Ruedebusch commits to play college football at Yale
Lake Mills senior outside linebacker/defensive end Max Ruedebusch committed to play college football at Yale University recently. Ruedebusch, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect, also held Division 1 offers from Air Force, Army, Cornell and Eastern Illinois. Ruedebusch led the L-Cats in solo tackles (37) and total tackles (63) last season, adding 4.5 sacks, three tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. He was an honorable mention all-conference selection in the Capitol Conference at outside linebacker and first-team selection at wide receiver, where he caught 15 passes for 338 yards and six touchdowns. Ruedebusch, whose stock flew up last spring, figures to be a key anchor for the L-Cats this fall. Lake Mills checked in at No. 7 on the WisSports.net Preseason Poll in Division 4 and officially will get preparations for its 2024 campaign underway when practice begins on Aug. 6.
