Fergus Falls, MN – Over 2,000 homes are now without power in Otter Tail County due to the severe thunderstorm in effect. In Fergus Falls, around 138 homes on or near Aurdal Avenue are without power with an estimated repair time of 11:40 this evening, and 370 homes on the East side of Lake Alice are without power, with an estimated repair time of 11:37 this evening.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. — Overnight storms hit the Twin Cities hard, knocking out power for tens of thousands of people. “We saw about 135,000 customers with outages. We’re approaching about two-thirds of those restored right now,” said Regional Vice President of Xcel Energy John Marshall. “Of all the storms this is probably our first big one that impacted most customers here in this region.”
