Bordentown Township update: Municipal Complex, Bordentown Bypass, Waterfront Park
Planning for the new Bordentown Township municipal complex is proceeding. After considering almost a dozen firms, the Township Committee awarded a contract to Epic Management Inc. in Piscataway to provide construction management services. Epic Management will assist with design review, budgeting, pre-construction, scheduling, on-site construction management and transitioning, officials said in the township’s newsletter.

The blood drive volunteer is an integral member of our team whose tasks include assisting donors with registration and/or at the refreshment area. No medical background necessary. Bordentown theater students ‘trick-or-treat’ collects food donations for those in need
All dressed up on Halloween, the theater students of Bordentown Regional High School went door to door – not asking for candy – but for food donations for those in need. This year, the Bordentown Regional High School (BRHS) International Thespian Society Troupe 6803 collected 1,678 pounds of canned and dry goods for St. Mary’s Food Pantry through their 2022 Trick-Or-Treat So Kids Can Eat Food Drive, according to a press release through the BRHS Thespian Society Troupe.

Philadelphia man sentenced in federal court for role in viral GoFundMe scam with former Bordentown couple
A Philadelphia man was sentenced to 36 months of probation for his role in a GoFundMe scam that gained nationwide attention, according to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger. Johnny Bobbitt, 39, previously pleaded guilty to an information charging him with one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. U.S. District Judge Noel L. Event Director: No plans to reschedule Cranberry Festival this year
BORDENTOWN – The two-day Cranberry Festival is one of the largest craft festivals in the state of New Jersey. However, the remnants of Hurricane Ian over the weekend dampened plans. Event Director Leon Stanley had to make the call with the advice of the Bordentown City Police Department to cancel both days after the National Weather Service called for 30 mile per hour winds and possible thunderstorms.
