    Money, drugs seized from illegal gambling facility in Reidsville after community complaints, police say

    REIDSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A search warrant was executed at an illegal gambling facility, according to the Reidsville Police Department.

    Reidsville officers and city management say they received “many complaints” about a gaming location known as “Good Time 168/NFT Skills” on 202 Turner Drive.

    Greensboro man charged with murder; accused of fatally stabbing roommate

    Police say that over the last several months, officers filed reports of “aggravated assaults, larcenies, robberies and weapon violations,” at the location.

    Due to the volume of complaints, a “several-weeks-long” investigation was launched by Reidsville police and the Alcohol Law Enforcement.

    On June 26, investigators conducted a search warrant at Good Time 168/NFT Skills.

    That search led to the seizing of 121 items of evidence, including computer components, computers, money counters, cash, marijuana, a pistol, ecstasy, liquid marijuana, cell phones and more.

    Investigators say they have identified six people as owners/managers of the establishment and are seeking the following indictments:

    • NCGS 14-309 (C) F. Operate >= 5 Video Gaming Machines – Stand Up Cabinet Slot Machines
    • NCGS 14-309 (C) F. Operate >= 5 Server Based Electronic Game Promotions – Aloha
    • NCGS 14-309 (C) F. Operate >= 5 Server Based Electronic Game Promotions – Frontier
    • NCGS 14-309 (C) F. Operate >= 5 Server Based Electronic Game Promotions – Stampede
    • NCGS 14-7.20 F. Continuing Criminal Enterprise
    • NCGS 14-292 M. Gambling
    • NCGS 14-301 M. Operate/Possess Slot Machine
    • NCGS 14-304 M. Manufacture/Sell Slot Machine
    • NCGS 14-305 M. Slot Machine Agreement
    • NCGS 14-306(B)(2) M. >= 8 Credits Per Play Slot Machine
    • NCGS 14-306(D) M. Video Gaming Machine Cash Payout
    • NCGS 14-306.3(A) M. Promote Sweepstakes
    • NCGS 14-306.4(B) M. Electronic Sweepstakes
    • NCGS 14-309.15(A) M. Conduct a Raffle
    • NCGS 74C-13(B) M. Employ Armed Security Without Permit

    Additionally, 10 others were identified as employees and the following charges are being sought for them:

    • NCGS 14-292 M. Gambling
    • NCGS 14-301 M. Operate/Possess Slot Machine
    • NCGS 14-306(D) M. Video Gaming Machine Cash Payout
    • NCGS 14-306.3(A) M. Promote Sweepstakes
    • NCGS 14-306.4(B) M. Electronic Sweepstakes
    • NCGS 14-309.15(A) M. Conduct a Raffle

    Lastly, two employees will be charged with possessing marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. A single employee will be charged with carrying a concealed gun and being armed security without a permit.

    Police say they are seeking 38 felony indictments and 126 misdemeanor indictments in connection with the investigation.
