    Sweetheart is a great album. Along with what Mike Nesmith was doing with the Monkees at the time (I'm not kidding), Gram, Roger, Chris & company essentially invented country rock, a genre that exploded in the 70s. I'd love to have seen this show. It's a shame this article makes no mention of Gram Parsons, without whom that record would never have been made, and whose influence arguably impacted the genre the most.
