Few more storms on Sunday but very nice week ahead
Tonight: A few storms will continue into early tonight before we all dry out under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will fall into the 70s as the muggy air hangs around. Sunday: A cold front will move in from the north throughout the afternoon, allowing for showers and storms to fire up mainly over the I-59 corridor and much of eastern Alabama. Some of these storms could be a bit strong or severe with gusty winds and small hail. For those that skip out on the rain, another very hot and muggy day is in store with highs in the middle to upper 90s and heat index values reaching 105° or hotter.
