State Rep. BeGole faces GOP opponent in fight to keep Michigan House seat
LANSING, MI — A former sheriff’s fight to keep his state House seat will begin against a fellow Republican during the Tuesday, Aug. 6, primary election. Voters first elected Brian BeGole to the Michigan House of Representatives’ District 71 seat in 2022. The former Shiawassee County sheriff represents parts of Genesee, Saginaw and Shiawassee counties.
Faster Horses lineup 2024: Full schedule for Michigan country music festival
Faster Horses, a three-day country music and camping festival, has become one of Michigan's signature summer events since its debut in 2013. This year's headliners are Jelly Roll (Friday), Lainey Wilson (Saturday) and Hardy (Sunday). They're part of a 15-artist Main Stage lineup that also includes Cody Johnson, Old Dominion, Riley Green and more.
