    Crews battle two-alarm apartment fire in Fairfax County

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Service said it was at the scene of a fire in a building in Reston on Thursday afternoon.

    Crews said they were dispatched to the 1600 block of Washington Plaza N for a two-alarm fire in a mixed occupancy apartment building.

    When first responders arrived at the scene, they saw smoke showing. They found fire on the lower level of the complex and were able to extinguish it.

    Police disband illegal car meet-up in Montgomery County

    First responders were checking for extensions.

    There were no reported injuries.
