City to Purchase Social Media Archiving Service
The Madison City Commission approved the purchase of a product called Archive Social, during Monday’s commission meeting. Archive Social is a government compliance tool. That provides social media archiving, website archiving, and social media monitoring products. A summer event in Madison returns tonight. Downtown in MadTown kicks off its six week series of events tonight in downtown Madison. Downtown in MadTown takes place from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays through August 20th. The event takes place in the 100-blocks of North and South Egan Avenue. Sioux Falls Security Guard Shoots at Vehicle Driving at Him
An aggravated assault led to a series of gunshots being fired early Saturday morning in Sioux Falls. Dakota News Now reports the incident occurred on Saturday, (July 13) around 2:30 AM inside a business in the 2200 block of West Madison Street. The police report states that two security guards received word about a disturbance inside the building. The guards removed everyone from the business and then went inside to investigate further, upon entering they discovered a fight going on that involved four men.
