OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – This morning the parents of Miya Rudd, Tesla Tucker and Cage Rudd had their initial appearance in Ohio County.

Miya’s grandfather, Ricky Smith also went before a judge.

All three are facing several charges: child abandonment, child abuse, and drug charges.

Next week they will go before a judge for a second time.

Despite the family’s initial appearance, there are still no answers as to where Miya is.

Police also arrested Billie Smith, Miya’s grandmother, on a warren from an unrelated case.

A fifth person, Timothy Roach was arrested with Smith on drug charges, but also not related to the missing baby investigation.

Kentucky State Police Trooper, Corey King, tells us today’s primary plan was to conduct more forensic interviews, but leads are being exhausted.

KSP is now turning to their anonymous tip line, hoping there will be a break in the case.

The 8-month-old was not found last week following a welfare check at a home in Reynolds Station.

Eyewitness News has reached out to the Commonwealth Attorney, Blake Chambers, but have not received a response at this time.
