Strange Lights Seen in Permian Basin Skys: Friend or Foe

    2024-03-11

The first week of March people started reporting strange lights seen in the skys over the Permian Basin. These lights were thought to be UFO's by some, while others just wanted an explanation of what they were.

It seems this mystery was not a mystery at all because SpaceX launched three rockets that first week of March, which could be seen in Texas skys.

No asteroids or UFO's but it's still very interesting to learn how far space travel has come.

SpaceX was started by Elon Musk back in 2002 and over the past 22 years has had many failures and many successes. It seems in the first week of March SpaceX lauched three rockets from Cape Canaveral, Florida and they were loaded with cargo!

The goal of these rockets was to get 340 miles above the Earth so they could unload and release 23 Starlink satellites into space. Starlink is a popular Internet service that gives access to the internet as long as there is a clear view of the sky.

Starlink is very popular for people who travel in their RV's or live in their vans full-time. They can set it outside when they camp and have Internest with great speeds.

Many people, called digital nomads, travel and work, using Starlink equipment.

These 23 satelites are only the beginning. They plan to deliver around 12,000 more of the low-orbiting satelites to prove internet to home and travelers anywhere in the world.

If you see strange lights in the future, it's probably SpaceX delivering it's cargo. It probably won't be long before people are traveling regularly by spaceship! Something to think about, and be amazed by!
