Library update: Superheroes invited to Books to the Rescue

The Rice Lake Public Library staff has planned a special superhero storytime and craft, Books to the Rescue, on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 10:30 a.m. Expect superhero-themed stories, songs, crafts and activities. Those interested in attending are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero.

The library offers two other storytimes each Friday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Saturday's event includes a craft.

Bored in the library? Board and card games, along with a snack, are available on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 4 p.m. All age and skill levels are welcome.

Chessheads offers chess classes on Mondays at the library from 6-7 p.m. and its regular chess games from 6-9 p.m.

Registration is required at: islandsofbrilliance.org/the-fellowship for The Fellowship, a free program for autistic and neurodiverse teens and young adults, ages 16 and older. Facilitators are Mary Warner and Elise Kallenbach.
