Bald eagle release set for Saturday at Spooner

Winged Freedom Raptor Hospital of Spooner will release this 2-year-old bald eagle on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Spooner Elementary School. This event is free, open to the public, and appropriate for all ages. This eagle had a wing fracture that healed in the care of Winged Freedom. He is ready to go. There will be sweatshirts and stuffies for sale. Freewill donations welcome but not required.
