Retired Educators to hear results of well water testing

Barron County Retired Educators meet Thursday at First Lutheran Church, 4 W. La Salle Ave., Barron. A time of visiting begins at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and treats available for a suggestion donation of $3 per person.

The program, starting at 10:15 a.m., will be presented by Tyler Gruetzmacher, Barron County Land Conservationist, who will share the results of recent well water testing and the quality of groundwater across Barron County.

A short business meeting will follow his presentation. Members are reminded to bring pennies to help pay off the remaining mortgage at the state WREA office.
