A Rice Lake woman is accused of distributing methamphetamine after a confidential informant allegedly bought drugs from her on two separate occasions and police searched her storage unit.

Tiffany A. Woldhuis, 51, was charged on Monday with two felony counts of delivery of meth and one for possession with intent to deliver meth. Two misdemeanors of possession of drug paraphernalia also were filed in the Barron County Circuit Court case.

If convicted, Woldhuis is facing a fine of up to $50,000 and as many as 15 years in prison. She is free on a $5,000 signature bond.

According to the criminal complaint, a confidential informant, who is an admitted meth user, told a Barron County detective that Woldhuis had contacted him about having meth to sell.

The confidential informant bought $40 worth of meth — later weighed by police at 0.6 grams — from Woldhuis during a controlled buy on July 13 at a Rice Lake gas station located near the defendant’s storage unit.

The confidential informant bought $120 worth of meth — later weighed by police at 3.2 grams — from the defendant on July 22 at her storage unit.

Police searched Woldhuis’ storage unit located in the town of Rice Lake on July 25. They found approximately 3.4 grams of suspected meth, gem baggies, a digital scale and broken meth pipes.
