Club recognizes Musil as a Fortnightly Senior Girl

Aubrey Musil, daughter of Jeremy and Camille Musil, was the Fortnightly Senior Girl at the Sept. 10 meeting of the Rice Lake Fortnightly Club, the first of the senior girls to be honored this 2024-25 school year.

Musil maintains a 3.9 GPA and was inducted into the National Honor Society her junior year. She has received an Academic Achievement Award and has been on student council each year of high school. In her junior year she was recognized as a Standout Student for English. The senior has been a member of Future Business Leaders of America and FFA all through high school, serving as an officer in each club as a sophomore, junior and senior. She has also filled the roles of class officer and a Chamber Young Ambassador as a junior and senior.

As an athlete, she played basketball her freshman and sophomore years and has played volleyball every year. She has excelled on the softball team, earning a varsity pin in grades 9, 10 and 11. She was also varsity captain as a junior.

Other activities the senior participates in are 4-H, the Forrest Run, and Rake and Run. Since ninth grade she has volunteered as an assistant coach for both city league and travelers league girls’ softball. Musil has worked as a cashier/sales associate at TJ Maxx and as a caregiver at Home Sweet Home.

After high school, Musil plans to attend a four-year university with a major in the business field. She’d like to compete at the college level in softball. Her future goal is to open her own business, serving the Rice Lake community.
