Wisconsin Trappers Association names Kwasny District Director of the Year

At the annual Wisconsin Trappers Association convention in Antigo, Ron Kwasny of Rice Lake was named the 2024 District Director of the Year for his leadership of District 2.

There are 11 districts within the state representing the 72 counties, with District 2 comprising the six-county area of Barron, Chippewa, Dunn, Polk, Rusk and St. Croix.

The WTA is dedicated, through the education of trappers and the general public, to preserving and promoting trapping as an important heritage activity that manages and protects furbearer population and habitat while encouraging the wise and ethical use of renewable resources.
