WESTconsin offers free document shredding services

As part of October Cooperative Month, this fall WESTconsin Credit Union is offering free, community shred events in the area.

Prepare for the new season by taking steps to protect identity, and securely dispose of sensitive documents Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Rice Lake office, 21 E. Burton St., from 10–11 a.m. or Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Eau Claire office, 1111 W. Clairemont Ave., also from 10–11 a.m.

Services are free of charge and being performed by ShredAway. There is a limit of one cubic foot sized box/bag. Contact ShredAway at 715-835-0811 for additional shredding needs.
