Mountain Men to host 'Breakfast of Champions'

RICE LAKE — The Mountain Men of Northwestern Wisconsin, a non-denominational group of Christian men, cordially invite men and boys of all ages to “Breakfast of Champions,” a morning of breakfast, biblical teaching, worship and fellowship on Saturday, July 20, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. This event is being offered free.

The speaker is Frank Cirone, a teacher and field representative for Torchbearers International and care pastor at Foundations Church. Cirone is passionate about sharing Christ in any setting and loves connecting with people over coffee. He is well-known as a speaker at men’s conferences, youth/college retreats and marriage seminars. As a guest chaplain, he has spoken to the U.S. Senate and the Green Bay Packers. Motivating to a deeper love of Jesus Christ that influence all aspects of someone’s life is something he very much enjoys. He holds a master’s degree in Christian leadership from Denver Seminary. Cirone and his wife, Krisa, live in Loveland, Colo., and have four grown children.

Roux Park, Rice Lake, is the outdoor location, changed to indoors if necessary. Even though there is no charge, people are encouraged to pre-register at mountainmenrevival.org. Following, there will be a game of kickball.

The Mountain Men meet weekly and encourage people to check them out online or by attending one of four small groups meeting at Rice Lake locations: Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at The Gap Ministry Center and Wednesdays at 6:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m., both at Stevie’s Cafe. Also, there is a deeper dive into scripture at 6:30 p.m. at Marketplace Foods. They profess Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

Mountain Men is a nonprofit 501©3 organization.
