Justin Jefferson Receives Final Ruling in Ex-Girlfriend’s Child Custody Hearing
According to a New Jersey family court judge, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is a father. The Daily Mail's Alex Raskin reported that Judge Aldo J. Russo issued an order that Jefferson and his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Galea, would share joint legal custody of a minor child. The child had previously been the subject of a paternity case. In February, Raskin reported that Galea accused Jefferson of pressuring her into having an abortion after she became pregnant in 2023. Galea gave birth to a baby girl, Stella, in December, according to the paternity lawsuit. Raskin wrote that both Galea and Jefferson requested paternity testing in their counterclaims in January. Galea also pushed for financial support and healthcare coverage from the wide receiver.

Torrential rains lead to near-average runoff forecast for Missouri River basin
(Omaha) -- Torrential rains in parts of South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota have led to a near-average runoff forecast in 2024 for the Missouri River Basin. That was the message from U.S. Army Corps of Engineer officials during its monthly update Thursday. Since the last monthly update, heavy rainfall led to severe flooding in parts of northwest Iowa and minor to moderate flooding along the downstream Missouri River. For June, corps officials say runoff above Sioux City was 6.6 million acre-feet, or 119% of average and 2.6 million acre-feet higher than the forecast. Thus, Ryan Larsen Corps Engineer Adam Larsen says the 2024 calendar year runoff forecast for the Missouri River Basin above Sioux City has increased to 24.6 million acre-feet, or 96% of average.
