Louisville pediatrician charged in murder-for-hire plot sentenced to 12 years in prison
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville pediatrician convicted of trying to kill her ex-husband in a murder-for-hire plot in 2022 will now spend more than a decade in prison. Stephanie Russell, who worked at Kidzlife Pediatrics in Norton Commons, pleaded guilty to one count of murder for hire and one count of stalking in April.
Man Injured In Eagle Way Crash
A wreck on Eagle Way at the intersection of Cadiz Road sent a man to the hospital Wednesday morning. Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Ronnie Moss was westbound on Cadiz Road when a problem with his brakes caused his vehicle to hit a northbound SUV driven by Irvin Payne and a northbound car driven by Lane Carter who were both on Eagle Way.
Kentucky offensive lineman announces medical retirement from football
Kentucky is losing one player as the Wildcats embark on training camp for the 2024 season. The player is Paul Rodriguez, an offensive lineman who was entering his 4th season in the program.
