Brandon Beane updates Micah Hyde’s status from Bills training camp
The door remains open for Micah Hyde, according to Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane. The Bills GM spoke via video conference at the start of 2024 training camp. Hyde is still not present summer workouts, but it’s still an option for him as far as Beane is concerned. After lingering neck injuries, the 33-year-old safety is considering hanging it up and retiring. However, he has not officially done so yet. Beane said Hyde is “staying ready,” but it does not sound like Hyde intends on returning to football just yet. Hyde noted this offseason that if he does come back to the NFL, it will be only be in Buffalo. Alfred University to Add Field Hockey as 27th Team; Saxons to Open Competition in Fall 2025
ALFRED, NY – Alfred University has announced the addition of field hockey as the 27th team with play slated to begin in the Fall of 2025. The newly formed program will join 158 other NCAA Division III teams as the largest number of field hockey programs in any division. The Saxons will compete in their 2025 season on Merrill Field at Yunevich Stadium and will move to their permanent practice and competition site, the Saxon Hill Sports Complex, in the Fall of 2026.
