RICHFIELD, Ohio (WJW) – All lanes of Interstate 77 North near Richfield in Summit County were closed after a concrete truck overturned on Thursday morning.

The crash happened at about 9 a.m. in a construction zone near mile marker 143, authorities said.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Richfield Police Department, all lanes on I-77 North were closed beyond Interstate 271 North.

All lanes were later reopened, according to a 2 p.m. update from Richfield Police Chief Michael Swanson sent to FOX 8 News.

An initial investigation suggests the cement truck driver lost control and the truck overturned. Another unoccupied vehicle in the construction zone was also involved.
