Lorain School Board may rescind released time for religious instruction policy
LORAIN — The Lorain Board of Education may rescind, or overhaul, its released time for religious instruction (RTRI) policy. On Monday board members had the first reading of a move to rescind its released time for religious instruction policy, which was adopted in January to allow students to be released from school to attend religious instruction off district property if a child’s legal guardian gives consent in writing.
