Lewisburg Woman Hospitalized Following a Pedestrian Accident
LEWISBURG – The Daily Item reports a Lewisburg woman was taken to Geisinger Medical Center after she was struck by a vehicle while walking Tuesday morning. Police say Sharon Lawer was struck at the intersection of Market Street and South Second Street in Lewisburg. Police say she was trying to cross Market Street when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Cindy Shrawder of Milton. Police say Shrawder had the right of way and Lawer went against the pedestrian walk signal at the intersection. Lawer was hospitalized following the incident.
