The expansion Utah Royals have had a rough go of their first season back in the NWSL. The Royals sit with a 2-11-2 record through 15 games, at the bottom of the NWSL standings with eight points. They’re ten points outside the eighth and final playoff berth in the league. With them as an expansion team, success likely wasn’t guaranteed to begin with, but the disappointing season has cost head coach, and former FC Kansas City and KC Current player, Amy Rodriguez her job. Rodriguez was removed from her first professional head coaching job. It certainly seems like a harsh decision given Utah’s roster in their expansion season.
Fire in Skull Valley area
A fire in the Skull Valley area started on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 3 caused by target shooting in the area. The fire was extinguished Wednesday evening. The fire, which started at approximately 1:59 p.m., was located on private land near Timpie Road in Tooele County. It was estimated to have burned 25 acres, according to Jon Smith, North Tooele Fire District’s public information officer.

Independence Day Holiday Celebrations In Uintah And Daggett Counties
Let freedom ring on July 4th with festivities all day long as part of the Dinosaurland Freedom Fest in Vernal.
