Man struck by stray bullet during rolling gun battle in Lower Richland
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say a man walking along a road in Lower Richland was hit by a stray bullet during a rolling gun battle early Thursday morning. According to an incident report filed by the Richland County Sheriff's Department, deputies were responding to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Acie Avenue outside of Hopkins just after midnight when they were diverted to a person shot on Crosshill Road near American Avenue.
