Syracuse University plans a new dormitory impacting a historic rose garden and mansion
Syracuse University’s plans to build a massive new dormitory directly across from the historic rose garden is getting blowback. According to Syracuse.com, the building on Ostrom Avenue and University Place will house 703 beds. The dormitory, spanning 272-thousand square feet, is slated to be the largest student housing building in Syracuse, with construction anticipated to last 22 months.
