Seasonably warm and mostly dry to start the week; turning hot and humid by Wednesday
MONDAY: Warm as sunshine mixes with clouds. High: 85. Our sun-tastic weekend continued Sunday as many saw an abundance of sunshine along with afternoon high temperatures reaching the seasonable mid 80s. Early in the new week, we'll keep the seasonably warm mid to upper 80s for highs amid partly to mostly sunny skies. Things look to remain mostly dry, but a pop-up shower or t-storm, mainly isolated in nature, is possible Monday afternoon. Heat and humidity will gradually build by the middle of the week with 90s a good possibility for highs by Wednesday. Late in the day Wednesday into Wednesday evening looks to be our next best chance for showers and thunderstorms as a more noticeable cold front looks to drop in from the north. In the wake of that front, temperatures should drop back to normal, if not slightly below normal levels as we round out the latter part of the week. The cold front may linger close enough to our south to keep a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm around, mainly on Thursday, otherwise we expect high pressure to gradually build in from our north leading to fair skies and more pleasant weather as we end the work and school week.
