RICHLAND, Wash. --- Apple Valley News Now first reported back in June, that some bands and performers were never paid after performing at this year's music festival, in downtown Richland.
Other complaints included a merchandise cut between the bands and Tri-Town. We also heard from guests who said the
Caleb Brown is the founder of Tri-Town Get Down and spoke with us for his side of the story.
"I think it's absolutely a misunderstanding that I would like to get past, and I would like to apologize for my part, and I do feel that I could have done some things better as a leader of it. I feel like I could have communicated better in some ways I feel that I could have taken some different steps and actions," said Brown.
When asked if everyone did get paid, Brown said "every single artist got paid 100% through and through. If they showed up and played, they were compensated."
Brown said the festival will be back for 2025, but with some changes.
"We're absolutely going to make some changes. I'm not a perfect leader and I'm not a perfect person for the role that I was in. And so, we're going to get a face to get down. We're going to get a new CEO," Brown told Apple Valley News Now.
