Rockingham police charge man with robbery, stalking

The Rockingham Police Department has charged Jackie Wayne Thompson Jr. with attempted common law robbery, extortion, communicating threats, cyberstalking and misdemeanor stalking. His bond is set at $180,000. Thompson is scheduled to appear in District Court on Feb. 22 and March 7.
