The affordable housing lottery has launched for Harborview Senior Apartments, a three-story residential building at 80 Scarboro Avenue in Shore Acres, Staten Island. Designed by Stanley M. Krebushevski, the structure yields 72 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 31 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $56,538 to $218,010.

Real estate prices on Staten Island have climbed significantly in past month, report says

According to a newly released report from the Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR), borough home prices have climbed over the past month and the median home price here now hovers at $716,500.

NEW YORK - Wednesday marks 10 years since the death of Eric Garner. Garner died at the hands of an NYPD officer after being taken down in what is now an illegal chokehold.
