6 killed in Virginia vehicle crashes during July 4th holiday period, VSP says
NORFOLK, Va. — Six people were killed in vehicle crashes across Virginia during the 4th of July holiday period, Virginia State Police (VSP) said in a news release Wednesday. According to the law enforcement agency, the crashes happened over a five-day statistical counting period, starting on July 3 at 12:01 a.m. and ending on July 7 at midnight.
