After a 15-year absence, women's lacrosse made a return to Earlham College in 2018.
However, in the six years since returning to campus, the program has only played a full season three times.
That's because after the 2022 season, the program was placed on a pause due to low participation numbers, and it was due to resume this past spring.
That didn't happen, and a new coach was hired after the previous one left two months ago with a plan to bring it back in 2026.
Now it seems that's not happening either.

๐ Good News Monday! ๐
I wanted to share this story again from last Friday in case you might have glanced over it (I know not everybody reads my features! ๐)
Perhaps the biggest event going on this week...who am I kidding? THE biggest event this week, the Wayne County 4-H Fair will have plenty going on and I'm excited to say this will be my first time attending this county's!
From music to 4-H shows and food to rides, I guarantee that there is something for everyone going on each day.
So if you're like me and haven't been before, I would recommend giving it a shot, and if you're worried about the heat, I spoke to Fair President Sandy House who said there will be plenty of options to keep cool.
For a full schedule of events throughout the week, read my story here!
