Senator Moran visits DJ Engineering, Douglass High
On Thursday afternoon Kansas State Senator Jerry Moran visited both Augusta and Douglass. Around 1pm DJ Engineering Owner and CEO Rezul Chowdhury greeted Senator Moran to the plant’s newest building expansion on Sixth Ave. Chowdhury made the decision to dedicate the building to Senator Moran, naming it after him. The building is now the Senator Moran Manufacturing Center. The team added 10,000 square feet to the building in order to accommodate for a newly built and purchased German-based Zimmermann Computer Numerical Control machine.
