Richmond Office of Elections Announces Polling Site Changes Ahead of June Primaries

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The City of Richmond is making some changes to polling places for the June primary elections. Voting at six schools normally used as polling places are moving but will return to their normal spots in November.

Officials announced the changes Friday, May 31. The site changes are for those choosing to vote on the primary Election Day itself, which is June 18. Voters impacted by site changes mentioned will be notified through a letter over the next couple of weeks.

A list of polling site changes can be found below:

• Precinct 105 : Mary Munford Elementary is relocating to First Presbyterian Church (located in Precinct 104) due to summer school. Will return to Mary Munford Elementary for the November General Election.

• Precinct 308 : Linwood Holton Elementary is relocating to Imperial Plaza (Precinct 309) due to summer school. Will return to Linwood Holton Elementary for the November General Election.

• Precinct 409 : JB Fisher Elementary is relocating to Christ the King Lutheran Church (Precinct 415) due to summer school. Will return to JB Fisher Elementary for the November General Election.

• Precinct 410 : Huguenot High School is relocating to Southampton Elementary (Precinct 414) due to summer school. Will return to Huguenot High School for the November General Election.

• Precinct 606 : Hotchkiss Community Center is relocating to Overby Sheppard Elementary for both the June Primary and the November General Election, due to renovations.

• Precinct 705 : Henry Marsh Elementary is relocating to Main Street Station due to summer school. Will return to Henry Marsh Elementary for the November General Election.

• Precinct 810 : Liberation Church withdrew to serve as a polling location and will relocate to Metropolitan African American Baptist Church for the June Primary and November General elections.

• Precinct 908 : Miles Jones Elementary is relocating to Elizabeth Redd Elementary (Precinct 909) due to summer school. Will return to normal location for the November General Election.

• Precinct 911 : Community Building on Old Whitehead Road is relocating to GH Reid Elementary (Precinct 910) for the June Primary
