PHOTOS: Animal lovers get tattoos, eat tacos to benefit Richmond Animal League

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Animal League (RAL) in Chesterfield County hosted its “Tattoos & Tacos” event on Wednesday, gathering animal lovers in support of the dogs and cats in its care.

From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, attendees were invited to get dog and cat-themed tattoos and enjoy some tacos, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting RAL and the animals it cares for.

Some of the available tattoos, provided by Richmond’s True Tattoo artists, can be seen in the below flash sheets.

The tacos of “Tattoos & Tacos” were provided by TBT El Gallo. Additionally, Ruby Scoops Ice Cream provided some frozen treats on this hot day starting at 4 p.m., about halfway through the event.

Attendees were also welcomed to meet animals RAL has up for adoption.
