    Great 8 Events: Caribbean American Heritage Festival

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Delaney Hall was back in the WRIC NOW livestream studio this Thursday to preview the Caribbean American Heritage Festival and several other upcoming weekend events.

    The Caribbean American Heritage Festival is hosted by the Adopt Haiti Project, and will take place at Dorey Park on Saturday, June 29 starting at 11 a.m. People can expect food trucks, live entertainment and more.     There are several other events people can look out for this weekend, including the 2024 Bass Pro Tour Stage Six which is taking place from Friday through Sunday at the Osborne Landing boat ramp on the James River. For more information visit the Major League Fishing website .

    People can visit the Virginia War Memorial this Saturday at 11 a.m. to experience “Hill of Heroes Day” which is a free event that celebrates the memorial’s Hill of Heroes Flag Installation. It is a free event, and people will have free entry into the museum and surrounding exhibits as well. For more information, visit the Virginia War Memorial website .
